i tried a 60 watt before and it didnt seem hot enough becuase the turtle was trying to climb closer to the light. and the 75 watt is like 100 degrees, but the turtle sits under it forever. what should i do?

Find out which wattage will give you a temp of 88-90 and use that.

Adjust the distance of the lamp. Closer = hotter. Farther = cooler.

Get a thermometer and check the temp.
