Habitat - Indoor :: Indoor Pond

I posted pictures of our Pond several months ago. I thought you might like an updatd. We now have 2 Red Ear Sliders and 2 Yellow Ear Sliders. They happily share an indoor pond with several large Koi, Shubunkin, and Goldfish. All are thriving. We enjoy our sunroom with its indoor garden and pond all year long in Pennsylvania. Wow! That is very cool! I can't wait to get my indoor pond going. It's got to go in the basement though cause I don't think my sunroom floor could support that kind of weight. Or maybe...hmm, you've given me something to think about.

Thanks to all who viewed my Turtles. The bigest Turtle (Myrtle) is a female about 4 years old. We have a sandbox in the area now with the hopes that she might lay eggs. The second largest is the Male (Ertle). We got him first. He used to be "Big turtle" and she was little turtle since we got him the year before. Now Myrtle is much bigger. The two little ones (Frisco and Hattteras)we found in Cape Hatteras one last summer and one the summer before. They are still too small to tell if Male or Female. None of them are Beasts but just gentle (and often stupid) animals. They come running for food but keep looking up at you while the fish gobble up all the food. The Koi are more aggressive than the turtles. We do put food on the rocks and the Turtles can get it and take it into the water to eat.
