as some of you know, i have an indoor pond that my turtles live in now. i want to ask fellow pond owners, how do you guys keep your pond clean? my main concern is that my pond has this opaque film that covers the water surface and i wanted to know what you guys could recommend to fix this problem??

Maybe add one of those little water fountains in the middle of the pond to create more surface agitation. This will help break up all the protiens and organic matter that collects at the surface (the film on top of the water) and mix it back into the water for the filter to pull it out. You may need to also either cut down on the amount your feeding, do more water changes, or get a more powerful filter.

The surface agitation will also help oxygenate the water, which the bio media needs.
