No, I'm not kidding.

Serra has ACTUALLY lost her appetite for greens.

What should I do?

Have you offered her a variety of greens? Red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce, basil, anacharis, other aquatic plants? When did she seem to lose her appetite for them?

Why don't you try something completely different for awhile. Maybe a blueberry or little piece of cantelope. Then go back to the greens. Two days really isn't very long - if it drags on for a couple of weeks, or if she starts showing some other negative symptoms, then let's discuss it some more.

oh..ok! I'm starting to think she thought the swiss chard was too bitter.

I was just going to ask you if you had actually tasted the greens to see if they were bitter or not.

I like Spotsmama's suggestion about giving your turtle some other fruits/veggies for a while. Case in point: my Sheba still loves greens, but this week when I ran out of lettuce & forgot to buy it when I went to the store, I have been giving Sheba a strawberry daily.

Good news about strawberries & why I don't feel too bad giving Sheba a strawberry treat for a few days: they are the fruit with the least amount of natural sugars so they make a healthy lower-carb TREAT. :)
