water hyacinth - and sometimes a few nibbles of anacharis.

I do still - and will continue to - offer "human" veggies, but as they don't eat them I was wondering if they're still getting the extra nutrition from the water plants. They will eat the cuttlebone though, thankfully!

They do get nutrition from aquatic plants but just like with people, variety is important. Keep trying with the people vegetables, they'll grow to love them!

My turtle's favorite is fresh basil. I've read on here that other turtles love it too. It's easy to grow so you can always have some on hand.

Aquatic plants are good, and, like veggies, their nutritional value can vary depending on the nutrients they take in as they grow. Variety is best, though. Have you tried dandelion greens?
