Is pork bad for it? And are there other meats that I can feed it besides fish?

Why do you think you should be feeding your baby meat? There are a number of other foods that would be better for him.

Hatchlings are often attracted to foods that move and foods that have a strong scent. You might try pieces of earthworm, crickets, foods that would be more natural for a turtle to eat. Offering leafy greens early (dandelions, red leaf lettuce, baby collards, for example) for them to nibble on is a good thing to do. Read the info to get some ideas on other things you can give.
