I have a container specifically for feeding out of the tank. Lily has no problems at all, but Herman will not eat in ther and just sulks,
Any ideas?

Molly - Dalmatian
Nipper - Jack Russell
Jazz, smooch, Kahu and Rufus - the Cats
Arie, Finlay, Caleb and Zac - the Boys
And Al - The Man!
Is the water the same temperature as the tank water? Are you feeding them at the same time or one after the other? Herman may just be shy. Give him some more time to adapt before worrying.
JAX - - - Baby Boy - January 9th, 2011! (3 months old) 1 RES - 7" long - Umi (3.5 years old) 1 black lab/hound mix - Josie (1.5 year old) 2 cats - Mysti and Molly (6.5 years old)
Yes the water is the same temp and I put them one at a time. He is shy unless he's basking

Try some irresistible treats with Herman in that feeding container. He just needs to associate food with that container. Try doing it at the same area and time of day, perhaps a bit of routine and familiarity will help.
It took Beaker forever to adjust to eating outside the tank. Plus she hates being handled.....but now she has the hang of it. It just takes a little time for some turts.
