:D I found out who the true hunter was. Izzy ate 4 rosey red minnows. Zippy only got 1. I made it up to him though. I gave him some dandolian greens. Zippy just wasn't fast enough. Izzy was fast and biting every chance she got. One fish got injured and died before she swallowed it. She did eat it after seeing it though. Rest in peace fish...

my mom was sad that she bought the fish. She kept saying she helped the turtles murder the fish.

I can watch animal being eaten. Animals are being eaten every minute. Why do we cry about something that happens every minute of the day?

Today I hoped to give my turtles fish, but we don't have the time.

I have yet to see Mikey eat a fish, it usually takes him a few hours and by then, I'm tired of waiting, and then the fish disappear (like when I decide to run to the bathroom). I have a closet basker and a closet hunter, I guess. My mom did the same thing, "Eww, I can't believe you fed him a live fish, the poor little fish, don't tell me these things ..." But I'm like, to have a balanced diet and balanced life, he needs fish sometimes, and it's just a little feeder fish. Meanwhile, I have a betta, and somehow bettas don't look soul-less like normal fish look. I'm a bad person, but it's okay. My little turtle likes a little fishy every now and again!
