I was wondering how many minnows I should get Yertle and Savava.

Yertle is 3 1/2 inches and Savava is 5 1/2.

Mikey is 3.5" and I give him 3 rosie reds. It took him a few days to eat them all. But I didn't want him to go on a fishie splurge and throw them back up. So, I'd say get 5-6 minnows and see how they react. You may find that one doesn't like fish or one chows all of them down at once.

I would get them 2-3 each, since feeders are only meant to be a treat for your turtles. My Toby would probably eat 15 and make himself sick if I put 15 in there for him.

I also vote for 5-6. That way you'll be able to keep track of how many they eat, or, in case they ignore them, you won't have a school of fish swimming around.
