I was wondering, does the rule of giving a turtle as many pellets as would fit in his head apply through out their whole life there probably about 4 inches now and i feel like im over feeding them but im following that particular rule. Anybody have any answers, id love to hear, Thanks

Yes it follows their whole life. But when they reach 4" they should be fed that amount every other day.

Some keepers do provide a completely natural diet for older turtles and forgo pellets completely. The "rule" is merely a guideline, and feeding fewer pellets than what it calls for is perfectly fine in a balanced diet.
