As the title says, if anyone that has an adult RES could post some pictures showing how much food they feed at a time to there RES. I don't want to over feed Mary Jane, nor do I want to under-feed her.

I plan on feeding her pellets and greens one day, and possibly those "jello shots" the next day with possibly some more greens, I just want to know how much she should properly take for her size. and for the record she is about 7 inches from top of her shell to bottom.

At 7 inches, pellets should only be an every other day food. Can you post or estimate how large her head is? I'd imagine it's at least as large as a quarter or so. However large her head is determines roughly how many pellets she should get every other day.

I love her name, from what i heard about adults(Which consists of 4in.+), it should be something like pellets every other day, and veggies everyday, then something high in protein once a month(Ex. Fish, crickets, worms, shrimp) And cuttlebone! sorry i dont have any type of pic.

Yea, I will change that tomorrow, as of late I've been feeding her about a half leaf of romaine lettuce and a head sized portion of pellets every day. I'll cut it back to pellets every other day, and greens in between. But as far as that goes I got it down, I just wanted to know portions because like some people mentioned with there RES, she will eat anything and everything I put in haha. That's why i want a visual of someone who has a RES about the size of mine, daily food amount.

As for her head size meg, your on the money with your guess. Her head is about the size of a quarter. I normally feed her approximately 10-15 pellets, and at the current moment I am using Wardley pellets(I will be getting Mazuri when this is gone). And if anyone has tried those "jello shots", which day would I give them to her if I am on the pellets one day and veggies the next?(i.e pellets today, jello shot and veggies the next, and pellets the day after, so on and so forth)

those are usually just for people that cant get their turtles to eat certain things like veggies, but if u want to try it i think you can just cut back on the lettuce, like half of what your giving her daily and replace it with a jello shot.

I've been meaning to try those jello shots for my turtle since all he eats is pellets and crickets.
