I checked that link out, so I guess the dried baby shrimps I could use on weekends as treat food and use the other two foods every other day so it would look something liek this.

M - turtle sticks
T - food (from the site I linked)
W - turtle sticks
Th. - food (fron the site I linked)
Fr. - turtle sticks

Sat, Sun - baby shrimp

Edit: And the occasional lettuce, I bought a veggie clip for stuff like that. Whats the best lettuce to feed a RES anyway and how often do most people usually give it ?

Also, a juvenile should be fed what, three times a day I think is what I read here then as they get older what is it like 1-2 times a day ?

shrimp has a lot of protein which can cause pyramiding.
i'd stick to shrimp once or twice a month.
more of a treat. :]

MoreBloodWine, the questions you have are already answered on the main site. Go back to the link I gave you and then from there click on "Fresh Plants' (on the right side menu) to get answers to your lettuce questions, and then look at the other links for your other questions.

You should feed items that are high in protein, like shrimp, blood worms, etc. LESS THAN once a month. Every weekend is too much. If you haven't opened the container yet, you may want to return it and get something more appropriate for turtles, perhaps HBH Turtle Bites.

As I said, refer to the main site. There is a lot of useful information there and it seems that most of your questions have already been answered there.

Hmm, so I guess I could do like every two weeks on a Saturday or Sunday then.

I would feed the shrimp once a month at the most. You don't have to feed turtles more than once a day. It's the amount that you feed. For pellets, you should offer the amount that would fit into the turtle's head if it was hallow. For most hatchlings, that's about 4-6 pellets per day. Now, you can break this up and feed them 1-2 pellets three times a day, or you can feed it all in one sitting. I feed my turtle once a day. He's not a hatchling, so he gets lots of veggies. He likes red leaf lettuce better than green leaf, but we're trying dandelion greens the next time we go to the store. You can also give some fruits as treats.

Well since it would be for a juvenile the best bet would probably be just to break the pellets up into portions through out the day so the lil one doesnt pig out, not that it would be such of a bad thing but still. This way should also help the lil one get use to me easier. I'm curious to see if he / she will take oen from my hand... now THAT would be friggin sweet for a new pet.
