Will mosquitos be harmful to my turtles? I saw that a mosquito landed in the water and my turtles went right after it. I want to make sure it won't harm them so I can get something to cover the tank if it is! Thanks!!

As long as it's not every day that bugs are falling in, a few times shouldn't hurt your turtle. You can feed your turtles crickets, alive or freeze dried (never caught in your backyard, though). So a few bugs won't hurt!

I agree with Dr. Jax. However, if you see mosquitos around your tank often you might want to cover it lest they decide to lay eggs in the water!
