Feeding and Nutrition :: live feeder fish

i just got my RES not long ago and they are both around 1,5 inch each. emil does eat live feeder fish but gmil doesnt seem to eat them. i let them try the taste of fish first by holding the fish myself and let them bite it. emil bite it once i bring the fish near the mouth but gmil tend to turn away and dun even wanna try the fish. is it possible for a RES to dun like live feeder fish? i left some guppies in their tank as well and realized only emil chase and bite them.

what can be the cause? need some help here !!

He's probably just scared of them.

I have a 1.5 Belize Slider, I just bought a few minnows that have been swimming around the tank, they haven't been eaten yet but one day they will. Plus, they clean the tank quite well.

It's absolutely true - some turtles really like minnows and some don't. Mine would rather eat pellets and is too lazy to chase a minnow.

sometimes i wish tupac was like that.

I buy rosies looking for them to at least stick round for a few days to clean, but tupac usually dispenses them within a day or two.

Mine tear em up and leave one in there for the longest for company :/ I put 30 in and they ate them all in days except one.. I guess i got a new pet now.. Gotta think of names.

they still seem to ignore the fish..hmm...emil seem to got lazy and never see him chasing anymore. im trying to feed them with veggie now and not always pellets. but they seem to bite it and split it out again. is it common? they always swim towards me when i stare at them as if trying to say " give me some pellets please, im hungry...." sometime i really feel like giving them. should i ? im actually trying the tough love method. am i wrong to do that? enlighten me please!! they hasnt eat anything the whole day i guess...poor thing....
