I have come to the conclusion, my little guys will eat anything I put in the tank. Out of everything (and I have tried a huge variety) the only thing they didn't enjoy was the dandilion leaves, i think it is bitter (but they eat it in the jello shots I make haha). Anyways, I realize the dangers of too much protein and since my younglings are growing at an alarming rate I have cut waaaay back on stuff like feeders, freeze dried shrimps, and even pellets, but I have still been tossing fruit in there and veggies that htey can munch when they want, which seems non-stop. Like the title states, would too many veggies be bad, or will they stop eating when they are full or dont want anymore. I tossed a half a carrot in there a couple nights ago and they have been going to town on it non-stop, its almost gone. Makes me wonder where it is all going. Will they eat themselves to death just because the food is there, or will they get full and call it quits?
Side note: they look funny after eating carrot cause their lips are bright orange. Looks like I fed them cheetos.
