Feeding and Nutrition :: Feeding In seperate tank

I tried to get momo to eat in a smaller tank, she will at pellets there but lettuce she will only eat a lil bit. Even lately she is eating slower then she used to. Is this normal? And if so how long should I give her to eat in the smaller tank. And should I even be trying this yet since I have only had her about 2 1/2 weeks now.

make sure that when you feed her in a separate feeding container, that the water is from the tank or at least close to the same temperature in the tank.
this isn't meant to scare you, but dramatic changes in water temp. can cause illness.

also, i don't feed my turtles their lettuce in the separate container simply because they take so long to eat it all. I keep it on a veggie clip inside of the tank and they usually finish it within the day.

oh ok, so you just feed everything else in the other tank? I do put water from the tank into the smaller container.

then just keep trying I suppose.
I could also understand that a turtle could adjust to the separate feeding container like a new tank entirely.
Some turtles have been known to be a little stressed in different environments, really depends though.
