Where do you Toronto folks get your cuttlebones? I used to get it in pet shops, but they cost me $4 - $6 each..

I don't live in Toronto or even Canada... but have you tried the bird section? You should be able to find cheap ones in the bird section.

I live in Mississauga. You can buy cuttlebone from any pet store. If you can't find it in the turtle area, look where the birds supplies are located. They're not really that expensive.

Have you checked ebay? I found a ton of sellers that ship worldwide, and if you buy extra, it will knock down the shipping for each. As long as you leave them in their package, in a dry place (which you can buy a desiccant to keep them extra dry), they should last for a good long time.

Swlin: I live in Ontario, and I went to a PJ's Pet Express store and found cuttlebone for $0.97. Pretty large pieces too... I'd say they were around 6-7" long.
