I was just wondering if and how long can RES stay out of the water ???? Can they walk around my floor and maybe go iout side in the grass if its cool with supervision of corse and answers ????

how big are they? if their small you should keep a really close eye on them but best to not take them out at all. if their big then it seems ok for them to walk around the house.

They could stay out of the water for several days if not in the sun.

When my female is gravid, she has been outside digging for an hour or so. But, normally without any water available, I usually only let them run around for one-half or so. I have left them in a shaded location in an old aquarium while I clean up their regular aquarium (usually not much more than one hour).
