My 6" long turtle has not eaten for three days! His tank temp is 77-79 F constantly. I've tried soaking his pellets in tuna juice and I've tried feeding him a variety of fruits and veggies. I even offered him his favorites! He just looks at them and swims away! :? He doesn't show any other symptoms of being sick , and I don't want him to starve! What else can I do? :(

I've had him for almost a year now and he's never had any problem eating before. I recently had to separate him from his buddy (my other 6" male) because they were starting to get aggresive. Is he lonely or something?

When you separated them, did he get the new tank/habitat? If he's in a new space he won't eat for a while. He's not lonely though. When I switched my turtle's habitat he didn't eat for about a week.

If he's healthy (which it sounds like he is), he's not going to starve if he doesn't eat for a few days.

Is the weather getting cooler where you are? Seasonal changes can affect appetite.
