Hello,
I am new to this site and wish I had got here sooner.
I have had a red eared slider for about 5 years now, she is about 6 plus inches. I know she is a she because she lays eggs every year.
Her diet is unforchantly mainly assorted pellets, rarely crickets and no greens but those frozen mixed cubes. I used to feed lots of gold fish until I realized she got the red worms from it, I have not feed them in a year or more. I think that's how she got worms?
When I figure out how to load a pic i will and someone could tell me what they think of her shell.
I am guessing by what I have read here I am feeding way to much. I have always feed like the bottle says as much as she will eat within 5 to 30 minutes. I don't even want to say how many gold fish she ate one time when we used to feed them.
I have many questions I need answered so i will start with this for now. Hope to hear from some experts. My e mail is waddwfo@aol.com if you e mail me I can send some pics and you can give me your thoughts on her shell condition. How do I put a pic here?
Thanks
Joe

Out of every 100 men, ten shouldn't even be there. Eighty are just targets. Nine are the real fighters and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Oh, but one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back. -Heraclitus of Ephesus
