Hello guys! I'm sorry for the inexperience and the lack of knowledge but 2 fish died in my tank like 4 days ago and I put them in the freezer....is it safe to feed them to my turtle (after being frozen) in little chopped up bits? I thought I read something about frozen fish not being exactly healthy so that's why I'm asking....thank you!

It's not that it's unhealthy...it's just that it might not be as nutritional as it would be if your turtle ate them fresh.

Freezing some types of fish increases the enzymes in it that destroy the B1 vitamin in it.

How big are they? What kind of fish? How long were they dead before you froze them?

I would just toss them. Only because you don't know why they died, and not cause they're frozen. Freezing fish is def better IMO cause it would kill possible parasites the fish may have.
