I have a male RES and he is about 6 months old. I feed him three times a day and I think he is getting fat around the tops of his little legs. What exactly does it look like and how much should I be feeding him???

You should be feeding your 6 months old turtle the amount of pellets that can fit
inside its head, excluding the neck, daily. Just guesstimate the amount, it doesn't
have to be the exact volume.

For better overall health, offer veggies daily.

The turtle will lose weight once you start feeding the correct amount, but it'll likely
take quite a while.

Like kemul said, head size amount everyday. Dont feed your turtle 3x a day, only once. :)

Well, if it'll make you feel better, you can divide the daily portion to three batches.
That way, you can feed your turtle three times a day instead of once. It doesn't
make any difference for the turtle, only for you. :)

Thank you for the info guys! I appreciate your help! I will definitely cut back and feed him way less. I wondered why they even make that Vita Shell stuff if it's bad?????
