Do any of you have suggestions on the best way to introduce veggies and other non-pellet foods into the diet of a Red Eared Slider? My turtles have been eating reptile sticks since they were tiny. Now they're about 12 years old.

I've tried giving them Romaine lettuce and shredded carrots with no luck. Is there something different I should start with?

Just keep offering the veggies from my understanding they will eventually take them.
