ok so there was a recent post about frogs and that there ok to eat but what about tadpoles...baby frogs i recently bought 5 feeder tadpoles but havnt feed it to the turtles yet what do yall think

well my larger res ate one alredy he seems fine i took them out though hes looking for more ill see how he looks and acts over the next few days

mine love tadpoles, they dont last long in the pond/ as soon as they girls know they are there they go on the hunt. They would eat these in the wild.

Not sure?,this is what they eat in the wild!. If i were you,i would be reading about RES a bit more.

I think its as safe as the quality of the tadpoles,as long as they dont carry any parasites its as good as guppies if not better.

ok well the bigger res is looking for more and i tossed in another and man hes tearing them up.I have goldfish and guppies and he just wants tadpoles haha hes catching the bigger ones the ones with legs they dont jump high but when they jump he swims under them and catches them in his mouth like if hes doing a trick. Its kind of neat watching him hunt them there was one that went the the water fall in the pond and was just getting pushed under and he came up then got pushed under so the turtle swam through it really fast and hit him out he got hit pretty hard cause he was trying to swim and was going in circles and then my smaller res came up and gobbled him up
