Feeding and Nutrition :: White Cloud Minnows and Danios?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I am trying to get my tank set up so feader fish can breed. I am building a moss wall and have placed a hold at the local store for 15 feeder guppies. (They go fast!)

Recently the store called me and told me that this time they are getting White Cloud Minnows and next week they will be getting Danios.

Would one type be better then the rest?

The plan is to have alot of fish that skippy can (try to) eat at her leisure, as well as sufficient plants and a small amount of diced reptomin food sticks twice daily.

I use a fish feeder, and since skippy eats most of what comes out, I decided to just feed the fish turtlefood... Luckily it doesnt drop out more then 3-6 sticks diced.

I've got white clouds, and they've never bred for me... I don't know much about danios, but if you're looking to breed a supply for your turtles to eat, your best bet is to set up a small, 10g tank and put some guppies in there. They'll just breed like nuts.

I have guppies and mosquitofishes in the tank, the turtle chased them a bit around the first day then they stopped bothering. And now I have some fries around the tank hidden among plants or whatever. Same happened with the goldfish, 2 of them got eaten but now they don't even seem to notice them, i have had them for many months now.
