I have a few goldfish with my res as of tonight and my res likes to eat the fish flakes..

if he keeps eating and eating will the flakes contribute towards him being overweight? or me "overfeeding" him?

or does it have no effect
I like turtles ;]

Too much of any food will cause weight gain. If you think he's eating too much, maybe you could take your turtle out of the tank temporarily while you feed the fish.

You probably don't really even need to feed your fish. Chances are they could find enough from the turtle scraps.

And if you actually love and care about your fish, you can still feed them. The amount of food the turtle would get from a few flakes is pretty small. If you are worried he ate too much, just give your turtle one less pellet. It's pretty much the same stuff. A pellet is just alot bigger.

And in any case... Don't get too attatched to your fish. Probably gonna end up being turtle food someday. Even if they have gotten along in the past.
