So yeah..... i think i might of overfed my turtle haha
So me and my dad went and bought some rosy red minnows.
And some freeze dried crickets and worms.
So we got home and fed him 3 crickets and 1 worm.
I didn't think he would catch the minnows cause they where really fast so i put the 5 minnows in there he didn't do anything for a hour and just watched them. So i thought cool he has some friends. Well i thought wrong, i went downstairs to eat dinner and after i went up to see him and they where all
gone!!
So will he be okay?
Im planning on not feeding him for a day or two.
Also when will he be able to get back on his normal eating schedule?

You don't need to feed him crickets. They don't add any additional nutrients to your turtle's diet. Worms (depending on the kind) and minnows are better for your turtle, but should only be offered like once a month.

For the next two days or so, instead of offering pellets (or any protein source) offer veggies. If he doesn't eat them, it's fine. Go back to a regular feeding schedule. But continue to offer him a different selection of veggies to get him to eat. He doesn't need any extra protein for at least a month now.

Your insane

your too occupied with your turtle

stop obsessing and worrying about every damn thing he does

dont freak out if he wont eat his vegies or his damn minnows

your pressuring him to eat what you want

let him grow up

Just shut up already this is my first turtle so Im still learning about him and don't know every little thing like you do. So do me a favor and just [----] off and let me post without you putting your stupid [---] comments that don't make anything better.
And Im not insane Im caring for my turtle and trying to learn every little thing about him.
So don't get mad cause Im not like some people who just throw there turtle in a tank and don't bother to learn about them.
