Feeding and Nutrition :: Turtle ate a lizard!!!!

Hi everyone. I just made my turtles a pond outside I found jumper eating half of a small lizard i was able to get him to let go 1/2 of the lizard. I didnt know they ate lizards. It cant possible be healthy. They are usually kept in a tank inside. Anybody have any suggestions on what I should do???

just watch and see if your turtles behavior changes. see if he is ok. if u think something is wrong seek the help f a vet. just keep a close eye for weird behavior for now

I can't see why it would be harmful. They'll eat anything that they can catch.

Mine ate a bug that fell into their tank (found the wings and whatnots floating around in the tank) since they live at the balcony. So far, they're alright. That was 2 weeks ago...

Your turtle should be fine.

I kept jumper in a separate area for a couple of days to make sure he was ok. Lets just say he didn't need to eat for a day or two. He's doing great though!! Thanks for the advice everyone.
