My mom bought some geen leaf lettuce and i was wondering if i could feed it to my turtle.

Okay i put it in his tank he has not touched it though :( he never does with vegetables but i will try to give it to him everyday

Yeah, based on what i've seen on this forum most turtles take a while to get used to veggies. I have one turtle, Speedy, who will eat anything that I put in the tank so far. Various lettuces, pellets, jello shots, wood. The other, Shiloh, is much more, hmm, 'reserved' and I don't actually know if she eats veggies or not . . . . all we can do is try for them

Just leave the lettuce in there. He might go after it. I leave lettuce in my tank for days before it gets eaten.

Well, eventually it will rot yes. Watch it, if it gets slimy or if it's been in there for a day or more I'd say take it out just to be safe. And then put in a new one.

Okay i will put a piece in there and leave it over night and change it in the morning.

Mum just bought some romaine lettuce, they only took a small bite out of it. LOL.
