Wow ok. today i was cleaning my room and all of a sudden i look over and my turtle has a rosy red in his mouth and hes just chompin on it trying to rip its head off!!

its still alive at trying to escape from his mouth..so i drop what im doing and run over and im in shock i couldnt believe it

...and then he gets bored and lets it go half dead..barely can swim..heads 50% off his body haha

poor fishy..i dont care if my res eats minnows but..actually eat it ;D! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:


I just wanted to share this with you guys i just couldnt believe it..it came out of nowhere..
I like turtles ;]

Haha my RES killed his minnows in just an hour
Never saw him swim so fast before.

Hm, maybe the rosie reds I bought once were small. My turtles ate them whole. It makes sense with an 8" RES, but my 2 1/2" Musk did the same thing. o_O Now to think of it, the fish disappeared, but I never actually saw my musk turtle eat them.
RES: Turtley - about 9" (She makes it a mission to measure her. :/)
Musk: Bolt - 4.5"
Mutt: Gaviota - small
