Anyone have any idea if crickets are a viable food for my RES?

You might want to read the section on what to feed your RES.. there are a lot of suggestions one of which is crickets. They are not to be a staple of your turtles diet but a treat. It is best to make sure they are gutloaded (fed calcium) before you feed them. You can buy them freeze dried and gutloaded for convience.

Crickets should only be fed as a treat and not a daily staple.
