I really wanted to know the frequency of feeding them veggies?? Weekly?? Alternate day?? 15 days?? Monthly???
-- I primarily have access to and ease using cucumber slices. IS IT OKAY IF I PUT SLICES IN THE TANK ITSELF SO THAT TURTLE MAY EAT WHNEVER HE WANTS, SNAILS WILL EAT IT, AND EVEN GOLDFISH AND ANGELFISH !? Will the turtle eat too much ?? Is that harmful ??? How do you know if you have to put one thin slice, or 2 slices, or 5 slices, or half a cucumber ?? I mean, lol, what's the calculation ??? There is only half-a##ed info available on internet just saying "feed greens".
--Green beans >>> How to feed them green beans?? The seed/bean part only, or the whole green thing ??
-- If we put plants in the tank which turtles enjoy, then is it okay if he will eat the whole thing in a couple of days, or something like that if you get my drift.
--Apple slice once in a while ???
-- Zucchini with or without skin ?? Blanched or not ??
--Oranges for vitamin C or not ???
--Whatever else which is easily available and counts as vegetable! ???
--They say feed carrots for Vit A and stuff... do I have to peel the carrot too?? do I put a slice he will chew on it ?? Do I have to cut pieces for his mouth-size ?? How much carrot to feed ?????????????
--How much Pumpkin and frequency ??? Pumpkin to be fed only when he is having problems with indigestion, or it can be fed once a week/fortnight to be on safer side ???? I mean I don't want to feed too big a piece of pumpkin which may make him poop like crazy lol
-- Tomato ?? how frequently ?? I remove the seeds of the tomato, I even peel it. I have just fed 2 times. No info anywhere!!!!
I understand this thing that these for-humans-vegetables are not really available in their "natural environment diet". That is why I am trying to know how frequently we can feed it ??
