Is a cuttlebone the same as a sepia bone? My pet store only has sepia bones. They look the same so I bought them.
Spike - 8 mo old RES 3.5 inch
Ike - 2 mo old RES 1.5 inch

It appears to be another re-packaged cuttlebone product (like Turtle Bone). Cuttlebone for birds is the same and probably cheaper. Just remember to remove the hard backing in all cases.

Yea the sepia bone packaging has turtles on it. :) Also I just read an interesting fact that answered my question, it appears sepia is the family that cuttlefish comes from.
