For the first few months of fred's life, i have been spoiling him. He has had an "all you can eat buffet" all his life. But for the past month i have been feeding less and less. Now i feed him 4 pellets a day. 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. I have been doing this for about two weeks and he is now looking heathier. He is ore active, there is no leftover food, and he is now interested in cuttle bone as well as veggies. Before he could care less about these other things but now he eats them with with a smile :D .

That's great to hear! Veggies are a great thing to introduce to them, I always like to see their reaction when they are given something new.

awesome, i'm sure he feels alot better also. it also helps keep down on tank maintenance since they will actually go down and clear their crumbs up if they aren't being overfed.

Yes! There are always crumbs leftover from feedings! But now he is constantly scanning the sand for a snack. I cant imagine how he is going to like the guppies im planning on getting.
