Feeding and Nutrition :: My turtle won't eat at all !

I brought home a turtle I bought last Wednesday. It won't eat at all even though I bought everything the turtle needed. He won't eat pellets or vegtables. Im worried about him/her. What should I do to get a happy and healthy turtle ?

If he is brand new let him sit and get adjusted for a few days. turtles can go a great deal of time without eating believe it or not. they have a slow metabolism. A new turtle will be stressed and will take prob about 2 weeks to a month to get completely used to there new tank and owner. Also, young turtles don't really take to veggies at first, any turtle takes a while to get used to veggies but once they are on it they love it so don't be discouraged to offer veggies once in a while.

If he does not eat at all and you want to try to help him out a little, get canned tuna without oil (tuna in water) and soak the pellets in the tuna water and offer those, that usually does the trick.
