Now that the season for sitting your pumpkins outside is over and I saw that it is on the food list under the moderate section I was wondering what part of the pumpkin to feed to my turtle. I have a 10 year old male RES, I have attempted to feed him vegetables before, but he didn't really take to them, but after reading all these posts I feel I should try again.
Should you feed your RES the orange guts, the seeds, or chopped up bits of the outer part of the pumpkin?

Just the flesh. Rinds of other fruits are sometimes used, I'm not sure about pumpkin.
