Feeding and Nutrition :: 6 year old RES not eating : (

My RES is about 6 or 7 years old. Usually eats fine. Eats a mixed diet of pellets,romaine lettuce and fruit on once and awhile as a treat. The light in the tank was out for a few days not sure if that had anything to do with it but now basking fine. Any ideas? 2 days now with no eating

Any other symptoms? What's the water temperature like?

The water temp. seems a little on the cool side. Would that cause my turtle not to eat? I have to figure out how to post pics. Not sure if Carlos is a girl or boy. Carlos doesn't have long nails but they are longer than most RES I have seen that are girls. Also they are very sharp. The tail section looks female to me. I was wondering if he could be a she and have eggs that need to come out?

It could cause a lack of eating. Accurate temperature measurements could provide a lot of insight.
