Joe is being all picky about his food,I'm not sure of his age,but I have had him for about a month and the girl who gave me him also gave me food she was feeding adult turtles. He likes it but I bought him healthier food for baby RES and he only sniffs it and swims away he used to eat it but only he only eats the other food.Should I stop feeding him the adult food and force him to switch?Or keep feeding him what he likes?
PS: Can someone tell me how to set up my signature? Thanks so much!

Hi Joe, welcome to the site. Do you know the specific brand she was using? Did she have a different setup or is it the same one?

No pics though.

Thanks for the welcome(: I don't know the specific brand and she didn't really have a set up her bigger turtles were trying to eat him so she put him in a tubaware bowl,he's got a tank now and everything he needs so yes it is different but he is used to it.

The first thing I would try to do is measure the water temperature accurately - it should be around 78-80F.

What brand are you using? Many people use Reptomin pellets.

There's not much difference between regular Reptomin and Baby Reptomin, but the latter should have more calcium. You should be fine with either.

Could you ask her? Maybe mix a little of both together next time you feed it to Joe.
