Hi everyone!
So i got home today from work and i fed my turttle as i usually do. One hour later, my daughter found her eating the bottom (soft, but not really) part of the floating island.....ANy suggestions? I dont want my turttle to get sick of course and i dont want to give her more pellets because i dont want to over feed her... :?

Get a different kind of basking area for her. How big is the tank?

how big is your turtle?

you can switch out your basking area for something different like cork bark or plexiglass, and you can add a calcium source to the tank for the turtle to munch on. I believe pet stores sell calcium blocks in the bird sections, just make sure and remove any rough backing.
