Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

So I've been experimenting with different types of vegetables on my hatchling soaked in tuna water. So far I've gotten it to eat some carrot (not sure if he actually ate any or just shredded it actually) and he just started chowing down on the cauliflower. I was just wondering if cauliflower was an ok vegetable to feed turtles because I don't recall seeing it in any recommended or not recommended lists. He hasn't touched the broccoli, bok choy or romaine (just kinda throwing in whatever I have in the house to see what he'll eat atm).

Cauliflower, like broccoli are in the Brassica group, so I would avoid them. Also skip the bok choy. Carrots are usually the first veggies RES are willing to eat, so thats a start. Look into dandelion greens, red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and romaine. Consider some aquatic plants too.

Ah ok. I recall I have some zucchini somewhere in the fridge. Should I try that too?

I haven't tried it before but I believe others have used it without problems.
