So I have been alternating the turtles outside feeding, I get home from work, fill up the feeding bin with water, let the water heat up, then feed. Should I just fill it up with tank water and then replace the water in the tank later with fresh water?? I'm probably gonna get another bin to start feeing both outside the tank soon..

Do whichever is easiest for you. I sometimes use warm tap water when I'm in a rush.

I did that. It was Tammy's turn last night.. snappy and scratchy the whole way to the feeding tank. I guess they just have to get used to it.

I noticed my RES does not like to eat in clear storage containers.

It has to be opaque because she doesn't want anyone to watch her eat (when she is not in her tank).
