Feeding and Nutrition :: Overfeeding? Help!

2 a day. one in the morning and one at night

you should give all the food your turtle will be getting for the day all at once in one feeding.

why??? maybe its more fun to give it twice a day!!

Omg.. I've been feeding my turtle 3, 3 times a a day... ( he's about a month or 2 old ) and some times my mom goes over board... I'm glad I found this. This has been going on for 3-4 weeks now >_< I'll slow down and feed him 1 a day for a month and some veggies.

I give my 4 inch turtle 9-10 reptomin pellets every other day(and i also give various greens). I have noticed that if i go below that it goes crazy and it doesn't calm down if i don't give it some more. I was wandering if i i am underfeeding it. What troubles me more is that my turtle is not that big, 4 inches and it is 2 years and 2 months old.

What if you give half that amount, but per day? Or switching (or incorporating) a pellet that contains less protein and offering a bit more?
