Feeding and Nutrition :: Turtles Favorite food?

Lets have a poll on what you think your turtle enjoys eating most!

Mine seem to gobble up strawberries the quickest, they love em!

Where's the pellet category? My turtle is a pellet fiend! Other than pellets his two favorite things are carrots and sweet potato. He usually gets some of each every week.

My turtles LOVE their veggies. Red and Green lettuce seem to be their favorite!

My turtles go nuts for practically anything I throw into the tank but they absolutely refuse carrots....strange..

Mine go nuts for dried shrimp (krill).

Mine seem to take after anything .... except their veggies. Pellets are great, protein 'snacks' like krill is even better. They'll eat their floating plants too, but usually turn away at the veggies I try (& keep trying...) to feed them.

I put leaf lettuce because she won't really eat fruit or vegetables besides leaf lettuce (but she loves pomegranate). Amazon sword never lasts long in the tank though - once I put in some anacharis, hornwart, and amazon sword in the tank at once and the amazon sword was completely gone by the end of the day while the other two plants survived several days.

My turtle - now 5 years old - always snubbed carrots until just a few months ago. All of a sudden, carrots are on his good list. Maybe he's just growing up.

well even though my turts stay away from carrots, i offer them once a week, maybe they'll take to it like they did veges
