Feeding and Nutrition :: my turtle wont eat!!

My turtle will not eat any kind of veggies or fruit. He wont eat anything but reptomin baby pellets. I dont know what to do . I have tried everything to get him to eat. Are their any tricks. I know it can cause harm if he just eats all of those pellets so I am scared for him.

Try soaking the foods in tuna juice .

I've tried blending some reptomin with water and soaking the food in that, and they ate it.

If your turtle is still a baby, he is still mostly carnivore.

And remember that fruits should be a rare treat, like once a month max.

He is still a baby technically I assume. So do I just stick with feeding him pellets?

If you can, get some anachris (aquatic plant). Turtles, even hatchlings, usually like to nibble on it.

Babys usually are more carnivorous rather than omnivorous so they like protein mainly, some take veggies when offered, just keep offering he'll eventually love them.

my turtle won't eat anything but live feeder fish and romaine lettuce. seriously, it won't take any other lettuce but romaine.

i'm in the process of trying to get her to eat pellets!
so experiment with different foods, some turtles are just picky!

My turtle will not eat anything but shrimp. He is a baby, under two inches, and he was found in our swimming pool so I took him in.

I've tried romaine lettuce, collard greens, veggie based pellets, ReptoMin pellets, crickets, tuna, live prey... he won't eat anything.

It's been four days now since he's eaten (I've been trying to get him to eat crickets and pellets for a change) and he refuses to do anything. I am really worried. I don't know what to do.

I've been told by other "turtle folk" that he will eat what's there rather than starve... but should I feed him shrimp just so he will have eaten something in four days, or should I just wait for him to eat what I've already set out for him? A total shrimp diet is very unhealthy for him, even if babies are more carnivorous.
