I didn't see it in the list of ok and not ok foods so I'm curious if it's ok to mix in with his dandelion green diet.

I hear it's fine. Have you tried red/green leaf lettuce?

he likes the green leaf, but it goes bad quicker then we can feed him for the week.

Plus for whatever reason it clouds up his water too much. I gave him a few leafs of the escarole and he went nuts for it. Even ate a piece from my hand which he never does with greens. We will see how this goes for now. Hope it last longer in the fridge then the green leafs.
