Hi Guys

I am a bit worried my 2 year old RES may be getting overweight. He has a bit of fat sticking out from his leg. I have become very strict with their diet, Bonnie is 2 and Michael is one. I take Bonnie out to feed Michael as Bonnie is bigger and a right bully when it comes to food. I feed them Reptomin pellets once a day and that dried stuff it looks like dried tiny prawns soaked in tuna juice once a week and sometimes a prawn each at night. Bonnie gets a full one and Michael 1/2.
What do ye think?

Their diets are too high in protein, so you probably are seeing that reflected in their weights, and their shells.
After RES reach 4 inches, they should only be fed pellets every other day as their growth has slowed down. You should give them a portion that is roughly the size of their head, if it were hollow. They can also be offered a variety of veggies daily, take a look at the nutrition sticky notes to see what some good veggies to offer are.
