she went through changes that I read should be expected after leaving a filthy environment, excessive shedding of skin & shell, wouldn't bask, slight pyramiding, didn't like greens, not friendly. now everything is better. But there seems to be some disagreement about how much greens to feed her in the posts. Here's what she taught me this week. If I feed her Reptomin every other day (the size in her head, eight) but feed her much, and i mean a lot of greens and keep them there free choice, (the good greens recommended on the site) she is much calmer, does not swim around all cooky all day and will bask! at night I remove what she leaves behind. I don't think feeding her greens free choice is causing any ill effects, i've never seen a turtles stool before but i assume it's normal..small dark? right now she's in a forty gallon tank, our pond that was going to be outside is now being set up in the living room. well, what about the free choice greens, it's the only way she will stop flitting around relax and bask. and, i do spend a good amount of time handling her and she loves it now. thanks from me and Toytee, yes, "
