Anyone feed silkworms to their turtles? I've raised them before. Super easy and grow quickly.
And can buy lots of eggs cheap and grow them to feeding size rather quick.

Just curious if the turtles like them.

-Luckie 5"
1- eastern painted turtle - Anubis 5.25"
1- southern painted turtle - AmunRa 2.5"
1- northern dbt - Tiki 4"
1- concentric northern dbt - Isis 5"
2 - DSH cats Spike and Grim

I've never fed them to my turtles, but I seem to remember they have a decent calcium content.

Yes they are high in calcium. And soft bodied so easy to digest.

I feed silks to all the turts about once a week. They seem to love them.
