If you already have the equipment to breed them then go on ahead but if you don't spending money on stuff to breed 13 cent fish is not worth it.
You will need:
A aquarium 10 gallon and up
Some kind of lighting bulb and lamp
Water pump
Air pump with airstone and air line
A filter
Hiding areas like PVC pipe and pots
And fish food

Yeah, anything that can serve a hiding spot for them to lay the eggs and for the fry to hide when they are born is good. Also you might want to take the fry out into another tank cause the mom will sometimes eat the fry.

Ok thanks. Well i have 4 left. But considering how you had little luck id say ill need at least 20-30 right? To make sure there are enough males and females.

Some people actually have more luck with just one male and one female having to many can cause problems in not every male having his own spot to care for his eggs.
