Feeding and Nutrition :: food amounts for hatchling RES

We recently aquired a hatchling RES. We have researched most sites to become as educated as we can in the care of our turtle. At the moment we are feeding him/her hatchling pellets. the amount suggested is about the size of his head, this is his daily staple with a piece of dried shrimp for a treat. What we can't find is a reference to the AMOUNT of veggies to feed him. He is about 4 months old and 2 1/2 inches long.

There is no set amount, and you might have to try different veggies to see what he likes. Since he's just a hatchling, you might want to try either aquatic plants or the jello shot recipe first.
